Research Interests

My research interests are learning and memory processes. Specifically, I am interested in the following questions:
  • How the different neural networks in the brain support the diverse learning and memory types?
  • How external and internal factors modify these networks and consequently, their behavioral expressions?
  • How aging processes alters the neural networks in the brain?
  • How does the brain compensate for malfunctions in learning and memory processes?
